The nearest locality is called Tusket and is 7 kilometres away from the property. It is located on the offshoots of a fjord on the Pacific Ocean. There is a store where people can buy their groceries such as fresh fruit, milk products, meat and sausages but also lots of other things for their daily use, as well as second-hand articles. It is open round the clock and also on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. If you are interested in fishing you can also buy a fishing ticket for 10 dollars. More shops and supermarkets can be found in Yarmouth which has10000 inhabitants, and numerous shops and nice little pubs in the harbour area.
